On the morning of July 1st, the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups hold a meeting to review the first 6 months of work and implement the work plan for the last 6 months of 2020.
In the first 6 months of 2020, the situation of Covid-19 epidemic greatly affected many aspects of life and society, in which, the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups as a cultural destination also greatly affected. The number of visitors to the Museum in the first 6 months decreased by 46% compared to the same period in 2019. Accordingly, cultural services and non-business revenue also decreased by more than 30%. Facing that situation, the Museum has focused on deploying urgent solutions, promoting creativity, innovating methods of operation, fighting against epidemics and gradually solving difficulties, starting promotional video clips, renewing thematic displays, building more concise experience scripts, simultaneously deploying display editing, opening movie rooms, creating a more attractive cultural space, meeting the needs of the public experience sightseeing.
At the conference, officials and employees actively contributed ideas to the units’ activities in the last 6 months. Leaders of the Museum continue to direct the whole unit, focusing on application of science and technology, connecting websites and social networks to promote display, education and examination experience. breaking culture, stimulating tourists to visit. The museum also continues to socialize its activities for visitors; strengthen scientific research; improve the quality of officials and employees, overcoming the difficult situation such as a number of officials are still limited in awareness, qualifications, lack of ideas… . In addition to efforts to build human resources to meet the requirements of innovation, it is necessary to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, creativity, effort, and striving to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
