On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of liberation of the South, reunification of the country and the 130th years of birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2020), Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups displays the thematic exhibition “45 years of liberating the South, reunificating the country” and “Uncle Ho with ethnic minorities of Vietnam”.
The exhibition uses more than 130 precious documentary photos, reviewing the great stature and the great historical significance of the war against the US to save the country with the culmination of Ho Chi Minh Campaign – Great Victory in Spring 1975; President Ho Chi Minh with ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
The exhibition desires to provide more authentic historical materials for the public, especially the young generation who understand the heroic history, culture and revolutionary tradition of our nation, with the spirit of great unity of the whole nation , unanimously to overcome many difficulties and arduousness, ready to fight and sacrifice for independence and freedom of the fatherland. Thereby, affirming the sentiments and deep gratitude of each Vietnamese people to the great contributions and dedication of President Ho Chi Minh and those who sacrificed for the Fatherland, and make clearer about Ho Chi Minh’s ethics, and style – a shining model of patriotism.

The Museum of the cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups
