To celebrate the date of establishment Vietnam people’s Army’s (December 22, 1994- December 22, 2013), on the morning of December 21st, 2013, the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups held a program of exchanging culture and entertainment activities with the theme: “The footprints of the soldiers”.
Attending to this ceremony, there are leaders and officers of museum, members of “ I love museum” and “ Thai Nguyen bicycle” clubs, the soldiers from brigade 210 (Thai Nguyen) and invited guests: Mr. Vu Tien, (15 group, Hoang Van Thu ward, Thai Nguyen city), Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phu ( Tan Thai Commune, Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province),Mr. Nguyen Van Pho ( former president of Veterans, who comes from Lau Thuong Commune, Vo Nhai District). In this program, the memories about soldiers and their lives on mainland during two wars against the French colony and American empire will be reviewed. Besides that the Club “I love museum” launched “writing letters to soldiers on islands to encourage their spirit andgratitude for their sacrifice.
Exchange program “The footprints of the soldiers” of the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups have connected grandfather soldiers, dad soldier, son soldier, grandson soldier in the way history of revolutionary struggle, construction and protect Vietnam. The program was really meaningful education for younger generations today to understand, respect and appreciate the generation of Uncle Ho’s soldiers who have sacrificed for the country’s independence and sent to soldiers to be islands far, the young soldiers today the pride, sharing and encouragingthem to be always firmly in the gunmen to protect the peace for the country.
