On the occasion of the celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (23th,November, 2013), within the framework of the activities: “Week of Solidarity ethnic groups- Vietnam Cultural Heritage” and the inauguration of the Khmer temple complex at theVillage for Culture and Tourism of Vietnam’s ethnic groups (Dong Mo, Son Tay town, Hanoi), from 18th, November, 2013 to 23th, November, 2013, The Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s ethnic groups had joined some activities such as the workshop “The solutions for preserving and promoting the traditional costumes of ethnic groups in the current period” and the exhibition “The Khmer culture in the community of Vietnam’s ethnic groups ”. With more than 400 images and collections of objects: costumes, labor and production, life cycle rituals, and typical musical instruments, The Museum has presented the typical cultures of the Vietnam’s ethnic groups, and educated a sense of preserve ethnical cultures. The exhibition had attracted more than 40.000 visitors.
